We loved the room and its view, and the cleanliness and range of facilities. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. The location, quiet and scenically attractive, was a perfect setting for a relaxing few days. Immediate access to the lake and to lakeside walks was another attractive feature of the hotel.
Very nice staff. Beautiful views from everywhere except the back rooms. Appreciated being able to open the windows for ventilation. Very nice pool/exercise facility, which we used, so we also appreciated the robes provided.
The back rooms where we were booked were had an awful view of a service lot and back building, nothing nice about it at all. For the rating, you could dress it up a little bit back there so we didn't feel like we were in the "cheap seats". The rest of the hotel was very lovely, though. Also, a lift would be helpful for us older folks.
Friendly, helpful staff in the hotel, spa and restaurant. Lovely views from the restaurant. A very high standard of comfort in our room
Really liked the setting - very peaceful and relaxing. However the view of the the rubbish in the yaght yard does take away from the view somewhat. The restaurant staff were helpful, and the french waitress was very attentive. The food was very gooda nd the menu extensive, esp. the dessert menu.
Better signage throughout the hotel for room locations, the cellar bar and other facilities such as the pool and couldn't find the beauty salon. The pool is a bit tired looking and could do with a minor revamp. I got the impression the staff were 'stretched' and this didn't alow for any real customer service. Some were even rude, esp the older breakfast waitress. I felt for a four star hotel, there should have been an iron / board in the room. On arrival, I felt as if we were rushed in and we were not prompted on booking for dinner or if we wanted to use any of other hotle facilities. Thsi place needs to concentrate on the details and on improving customer service and employing more staff.
What a superb hotel. From booking in to booking out the staff were most helpful. The room was excellent with superb views of the golf course and lake. Probably the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at in Northern Ireland. Would reccommend it and I intend to return later in the summer.
Great location. Fab building.
Food took an hour to appear and some waiting staff rude.
Room was excellent however would have been spectacular had it had views of Lough Erne. Staff were friendly and helpful however the real bonus was the fine dining restaurant. Excellent food, wonderful choices, well presented by friendly competent staff who care about the quality of food on offer.Flavours to die for. Worth the stay just to visit the restaurant.
I found the location to be everything you would want, set in beautiful surroundings on the edge of the lake in the luscious countryside but close to the shopping area of Enniskillen.
There was not enough choice for eating with only two places - the resturant and the bistro especially when it was busy. 4 star hotel with only 2 star service
The room was beautiful and the four poster bed was the icing on the cake. at breakfast it was lovely to be served and have options other than the usual fry.
We loved the the location and the views over loch Erin , Tennis courts , pitch and put, Golf Course , Lady of the lakes boat trip stops at the marina , and you can also hire a boat for the day if you wanted to go fishing.
it was very relaxing, food was very good and the hot tub outside and sun shineing on you was just great!
maybe a bigger tv in the rooms
the food in the dining room was outstanding in quality and presentation.Breakfast was exceptional as well.
The pillows were quite hard and did not settle down to the shape of your head which meant you awoke with a sore neck. Room was very warm as well although the porter had offered to get a Fan ehen we checked in so management knew that the rooom was normally wasrm but had not done anything about it apart from offering a Fan.
Breakfast fantastic spa facilities also great
Bedroom not cleaned tlll late afternoon on days not checking in/ out sheets not changed when should have been tv in bathroom reported not working butnot fixed
Total relaxation. Excellent food in the cellar bistro. We upgraded to a junior suite and well woth it, an excellent room with a view of the lake. We didn't have to leave the hotel, Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.
Stunning approach to the hotel, and the setting is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. Very good base for touring.
Window catches were broken, a wardrobe light did not work, lightbulb out on the chandelier, cracked handbasin, and trying to get in the door was a nightmare - one of these fiddly plastic credit-card type locks that took many attempts before it worked. And finally, all you could see out of the window was roof. Maybe that's why the receptionist asked us when we arrived if we wished to upgrade.
